Tasting Notes
Made using a range of grape varieties grown by the Shumi Winery, this oak-aged fortified sweet wine has the colour of pomegranate, with a floral nose hinting at conifers and dried fruit. Flavours of almonds and fresh berries give way to a fine, long-lasting finish. A truly one-of-a-kind wine, as striking as the bottle it is served in!
About the Winery
One of the leading producers of high-quality Georgian wines, Shumi Winery is based in Tsinandali, the centre of Georgian wine making. On-site is a Vine and Wine museum with artefacts dating backover 6000 years in time. Shumi's logo depicts a Phaskunji, a griffin-like creature from Georgian mythology, who legends state brought the first grapes to mankind
